Andrew Saito is a globe-trotting writer whose many experiences living far off the beaten path shape his writing for TV, theater, and film. With a family that is Japanese, White, Black, and Latinx, his brand is 'Multiracial Mayhem.' A Fulbright scholar in Papua New Guinea and graduate of the Paramount Writers Mentoring Program, he wrote on Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol. He’s had numerous plays produced and been supported by the Mellon Foundation, the NEA, and many other funders. A polyglot who speaks four languages, Andrew excels at immersive research and cross-cultural communication and collaboration, Andrew has received grants to travel to all six inhabited continents. A fourth-degree black belt in Kung Fu, he’s passionate about scuba diving, climate activism, and cooking; recipes up his sleeve include chiles rellenos, jambalaya, key lime pie, and the meanest French toast this side of Paris (Texas, that is). www.andrewsaito.com
