Emma Goldman-Sherman (she/her/hers) believes in the power of theatre to confer agency and healing. Her plays have been produced on 4 continents. FUKT is a 2020 finalist with BAPF (and Unicorn 2019), and Why Birds Fly is a finalist with Unicorn 2020. Tanya's Lit Clit is in development with Experimental Bitch Presents. The Tank will produce WHORTICULTURE (finalist Campfire 2019, Unicorn 2018) in 2021. Residencies at Millay, Ragdale and twice at WordBridge where she also worked as a dramaturg. Emma earned an MFA from University of Iowa where she received a Norman Felton Award, the Richard Maibaum Award for Plays Addressing Social Justice, and PERFECT WOMEN won the Jane Chambers Award. She runs the WriteNow Workshop for new play development and Brave Space to support female-identified writers of all genres.
